Favorite Food

Elijah has discovered the joys of fresh grilled corn on the cob. This was made especially for him by a very nice man at a food stall near a waterfall that we visited a few weekends ago.

Life Lessons

It was bound to happen...Anna is determined to be a little lady. She has started to imitate everything I do. For better or for worse. If I am doing my Pilates workout tape, then she hops right in. If I am putting my makeup on in the morning, I have to be sure to guard my lipstick, or else find it in a pair of tiny hands with inaccurate aim. For dinner one night Anna took matters in her own hands and painted her face with peanut butter. It wasn't quite revlon moisture whip foundation, but Anna seemed to think that it was lovely anyway. She does inspire me to be more conscious of my actions, and I suppose that is worth it.

first haircut

Anna does not have much hair to speak of, but what little hair she has, was starting to come in faster straight down the middle of her head! In an effort to correct what was quickly becoming a mohawk hairdo, I gave in and gave her a quick trim.

The Creator's handiwork

What can be more beautiful than the sun setting over the ocean. The natural beauty of our new island home is enough to make us speechless.

Packed

On a recent vacation to a nearby city, Anna made certain that we did not forget her when we were packing. She crawled right into our carry-on suitcase and made herself cozy for the trip! I have a feeling that we would have raised a few eyebrows at the airport security though.
