Quality time

Both kids were really mopey while Brad was gone last week on his trip back to the States. Ever since Brad returned from his week long meeting both kids have wallowed him to death and not let him out of their sight. I have to admit, I haven't let him get too far away since he returned either.

Hide and Seek

Elijah and Anna have finally learned to work together, and have found a terrific hiding spot.

Wiggles

Elijah and Anna love the Wiggles music CD. They are "pointing their fingers and doing the twist" with the enthusiasm that only children seem to posses. It seems much easier to dance when you don't have to worry about how you look.

Flying Solo

With Brad on a week long business trip, my mother-in-law predicted that both kids would be in my bed and that we would eat all of our meals in Elijah's "car" tent. So far her average is 50 percent.

Friends

Anna and Elijah are making many new friends during our time here. Not all of them, however, are of the two legged variety.

Every princess has her throne

Today we helped our friends celebrate their daughter's 1st birthday. Elijah used every stealth tactic that a three year old could muster to sneak a bite of her cake, but only managed to stick his finger in the icing a time or two. Anna on the other hand just went from person to person and swiped treats off their plates when they were unattended. Most of the time they didn't seem to mind, after all, who could resist a cutie like her!

Boxer Briefs

Elijah's grandma Wanda and Papa Steve sent him boxer briefs for Christmas that he has just now grown into. After some initial confusion and lots of tears over the fact that they were underwear and not intended to be worn outside to play, Elijah decided they were the perfect attire for body building.
